Cyberattack on Change Healthcare, Inc.

Choices, the Claims Administrator for the Local Union No. 704 I.B.E.W.
Health and Welfare Fund (“Welfare Fund”), has reported that a
significant data breach was recently identified by Change Healthcare,
Inc. (CHC), a company that provides a variety of services to Health
Choices. This breach was the result of a February 21, 2024, cyberattack
against CHC. Although the breach includes personal health information
(PHI) of members of plans administered by Health Choices, at this
time the Trustees have not been notified that any member or dependent
covered by the Welfare Fund was included in the breach. CHC is
presently working to identify affected individuals and plans to mail
written letters to affected individuals for whom CHC has a sufficient

CHC is offering two (2) years of free credit monitoring and identity
theft services to any individual who believes their information may have
been impacted by the breach. The Trustees are keenly aware of how
important your PHI is to you and encourage you to take advantage of
these services by visiting changecybersupport.com.
The
Trustees regret any inconvenience or concern that this situation has
caused and want to reiterate that the issue here was not a result of any
error by the Trustees of the Welfare Fund. The Trustees are committed
to providing quality care, including protecting your PHI, and want to
assure you that they expect vendors working with the Welfare Fund to
exercise the highest level of caution. If you have questions or need

(UPDATE 10/17/16) ATTENTION: Iowa has entered into a reciprocal agreement with the State of Wisconsin for the Class A Journeyman and Master Electrical licenses.(See "Members" section for more information).
Richardson Motors, Spahn and Rose, Chick-Fil-A, Five Guys Burgers and Perkins used a non signatory contractor to complete the electrical on their new buildings. We urge all of our members to patronize the places in town that use our contractors to do their work.
